Poetic Seraph - Forbidden Memories

Authored by Poetic Seraph,She takes an unconventional approach to helping us find the revolutionary inside.Forbidden memories is a collection of forty of her poems.I opted to review this book in two bits as dictated by the 30 seconds review concept of keeping it concise as possible though there's so much to be said from reading forbidden memories.I got an exclusive copy in .doc format and on opening it,the title popped out first then something that reminded me of Robert Mugabe and it was a picture of a child soldier from Congo.sliding down to see the table of content got the following titles exciting me:Inmate 794675,No man is worth a woman's tears,One ... Two ... Three ... Four... and When the past catches up with you.

Here I would attempt to look at the first twenty poems. No man is worth a woman's tears starts this collection bringing to bare the humiliation the female gender either as a kid, struggling mother or have to be mutilated as a girl.Next let's you in,into the darkness and timelessness of her mind and drift to remind you of George Bush and the middle east war with 'soldiers match',They saw through heaven,Footsteps in the mud and a poem that ends with wondering if she had to do with a convict she calls 'A beast among the animals in this struggle for life' in 'Inmate 794675'.she rhymes with '-ize' on 'The rebirth' then she moves on to see the evil in 'Nightlife' after we count down one, two, three and four, she tells a 'Once upon a time' story where you wish it was under the moon light.right from the title 'beginning of th start' she prepares you for another rebirth.Refugees,The soil on this earth,The soil on this earth - revised,When the past catches up with you and my last stop-Shadows,shadows is a poem,Poetic Seraph makes you see how being 'Touched by heaven,Raised by hell' could make 'Your eyes focus on this world While your soul Blows the devil a kiss'.Brilliant chose of words and consequent deep phrases.Advocacy, the very elements that made poetry count. It's worth every penny you would spend on getting 'Forbidden Memories by Poetic Seraph'.

I leave you with her opening quote:' Forbidden Memories' is a personal revolution. Hopefully you'll find back that revolutionary inside yourself too. And maybe - just maybe - then we can start to make a change.'
